Most used instruments have been upgraded with quality matching pegs, end button, tailpiece and chinrest. Trades are considered towards the purchase price. Other instruments can be located and brought in upon request. Regarding the authenticity of instrument labels, it is a tricky business to prove authenticity of instruments even for the finest luthiers. Sometimes the counterfeits can be finer than the originals! Therefore I regret that I cannot ensure the authenticity of used instruments unless they come with a certificate. All instruments are sold as-is. An exception is with instruments with repaired cracks which open up, in which case I would have it repaired for you.
